Our Plays
Snow White
"Mirror, mirror on the wall. Who is the fairest of them all?"
The newly appointed queen has until now always received a positive
answer. But her claim will be tested as Snow White grows into a
beautiful lady. Follow us on a journey involving a reluctant hunter,
seven giddy dwarfs and a charming prince in a beloved fairy tale
adventure.
Robin Hood
He is a famous figure in English folklore, and remains important
in popular culture where he is known for robbing the rich to give
to the poor and fighting against evil doers. Come along and follow
this wonderful and unforgettable tale of a hero and his band of
“merry men” who follow their beliefs through action,
fight and love.
Storytelling by Brian Loughnane; every last Sunday of the month.
Rumpelstiltskin
A clumsy miller makes a bold claim: his young daughter can spin straw
into gold! At that very moment, the king of the land passes by and
overhears. Delighted with this revelation, he insists that the young
girl accompany him to his castle. If she succeeds in creating gold
from straw, he shall marry her and make her queen. A fairy appears to
her in the night offering assistance, but in return demands more than
she is willing to give…
Who Nose?
With his complete innocence, clown Fred brings chaos into the world of
the authoritative Professor Arbuckle as the two sit in a classroom
together and conduct their opposing roles as examiner and examinee.
The play touches on subjects like tolerance, friendship, the
prevention of drugs and violence as well as examination anxiety.
Storytelling
We here at Galli English Theater do not limit
ourselves to playing in our own theatre; on the contrary we will
happily perform Storytelling at a school or indeed a private venue.
What better way to celebrate a birthday party than to hear a rendition
of “Robin Hood” for example? For further inquiries about
Storytelling, please call the office or email direct: brian.loughnane@galli.de.
